Hello
I'm Mackenzie, commonly known as Gremlin or Kenz across platforms. I'm an illustrator, the CEO of bad OCs (I love them a lot, please believe me), and CEO of unaesthetic things (self-appointed). On the side I like to cosplay, and casually game. As an artist, my biggest inspirations come from other online artists and some of my favorite series. Currently, I draw a lot of inspiration from Studio Ghibli and Castlevania; that being said, the works of Michelangelo are my go to, obligatory, old master studies. I also draw inspiration and admiration from the Impressionist and Rococo eras of art.

My Story
There's not much to lil' ol' me. I grew up in upstate New York, where I Currently attend college. My art journey began when a very close friend of mine introduced me to the Sonic franchise; humble beginnings, I know, but it was how creative he had gotten with the characters that inspired me to start my own art journey. I wanted to make my own characters, I wanted to make my own stories using my favorites from the game, I wanted to do it all! Then came Alannah. I like to tell the story of Alannah. She was my first ever character. Without her, I wouldn't be here as an artist. She wasn't just a character to me- she was a muse. I used her for everything. I owe her a lot, and i still do to this day. Throughout school I took a multitude of fine arts classes, but it wasn't until High School did i really find my artistic interests. I loved using watercolors and illustrating big scenes: as big as I could get them. Which brings me to where I am now; ever growing and ever experimenting in hopes of finally becoming an illustrator that not only can everyone enjoy the works of, but also one that I can be proud of.
